INFORMATION WE COLLECT

GOOGLE DRIVE

CCMP collects each user’s email address, profile information, and sequencing data files that the user intends to analyze. CCMP will have access to all of the user’s files stored in their Google Drive. CCMP will only collect data from the folders the user chooses for analysis. Data you submit to CCMP should be anonymized and contain no personal data traceable to any individual. All of the information collected by CCMP is deleted from our servers after analysis. All sequencing data files are deleted once they are analyzed after CCMP reports analyzed results back to the user. Any personal user information such as email or profile information is also deleted after the CCMP pipeline completes.

AUTHORIZATION SCOPES

GOOGLE DRIVE

All sequencing data files and CCMP result files are saved on your Google Drive and are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. CCMP will request access to the UserInfo.Email, UserInfo.Profile and Drive OAuth scopes. These allow CCMP to access files that you select for analysis by our pipeline, to upload results directly to your Drive, and to send notifications to your Google email address.

GLOBUS

All sequencing data files and CCMP result files are saved on Globus, and are subject to the Globus Privacy Policy. CCMP has access to the openID, email and transfer Globus Auth scopes. These allow CCMP to access files that you select for analysis by our pipeline, to transfer the results through a shared endpoint, and to send notifications to your email address.

HOW DO WE USE THIS INFORMATION

GOOGLE DRIVE

When a user selects the folder of data they want to analyze from their Drive, CCMP will open that folder, extract the files within it, and save those files to our server. These files are then processed by our pipeline. CCMP then emails the user about the status of the pipeline. Once CCMP pipeline completes, the results of the analysis are uploaded directly to the user’s Drive as a zip folder. Then CCMP deletes sequencing data files, and analysis results, and all other personal info from our server.

GLOBUS

When a user indicates the path to the folder containing the data they want to analyze from their Globus Endpoint, CCMP will download that folder and extract the files within it. These files are then processed by our pipeline. CCMP then emails the user about the status of the pipeline. Once CCMP pipeline completes, CCMP will send an email to the user, which contains a link to an endpoint shared between CCMP and the user, from which they can download their results. Then CCMP deletes sequencing data files, and analysis results, and all other personal info from our server.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE SHARE

CCMP shares the results of analysis only with the intended user. CCMP shares no information with third parties.
